Own your data
Local by default. Cloud only when you say so.
App data (default: local)
Your customers, jobs, materials, photos, invoices, mileage, and finances are stored on your device. The app works without internet.
When sync is ON
If you enable sync, we process your data to keep devices up to date and to deliver updates. We use reputable cloud providers (e.g., Supabase) with encryption in transit and Row‑Level Security.

Our site may use basic analytics/cookies for performance and security. If you email us at builtwrightapp@gmail.com, we’ll keep that message to respond and improve support.

Your controls
Sync is optional
Keep the app fully offline, or enable Sync App / Sync Now when you want. You can turn sync off anytime.
Export & backups
You can export your records for your own backups and accounting. Your data is yours.
Delete
Delete local data directly on your device. If sync was enabled and you want us to delete cloud copies, email builtwrightapp@gmail.com from your license email.

Sharing and security
No selling of your data
We don’t sell or rent your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run sync, updates, email delivery, or payments—strictly for those services.
Security
Local‑first storage on your device. When sync is enabled, we use encryption in transit and database Row‑Level Security. Updates are signed. Please use a device passcode and keep backups.
Legal requests
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
Where data lives
Our primary processing is in the United States. If you access from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred here.
Retention & children
How long we keep things
Local data remains on your device until you delete it. If you use sync, we retain cloud copies as long as your account is active or until you ask us to delete them. Minimal update/diagnostic logs may be kept for a limited period for security and debugging.
Children
BuiltWright isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes & contact
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top and post the new version here.
