Two kinds of seat, bought outright, with no monthly charge behind either one. A seat belongs to your business rather than to a person, so when somebody leaves, the seat stays and the next hire uses it.
Admin seat
The whole app. Estimating, approvals, invoicing, payments, deposits, crew management, and every setting behind them. For you, and for anyone you trust with the money side.
Crew seat
Their schedule, their assignments, their time clock, the jobs they are on, and whatever else you decide to let them see. You set the permissions per role.

There is no basic plan and no pro upgrade. An admin seat gets every feature below. Crew seats see the parts you decide to give them, which is a permission you set rather than a tier you buy.

No countdown and no invented scarcity. BuiltWright is in beta, and until version 1 ships, seats are half price. Same app, same features, same perpetual license as anyone who buys later.
Your price is locked to your account, not to the purchase. Buy in before v1 and every seat you ever add stays at early adopter pricing, including seats you buy years from now. Nothing you already own is ever repriced.

BuiltWright at one admin seat and three crew seats, full price. Competitor figures are published month-to-month rates for a four-user account, read from their pricing pages in September 2026: Jobber Connect at five users, Housecall Pro Essentials, Service Fusion Starter. Paying annually up front lowers all three by roughly 15 to 30 percent. Their prices tend to go up over time. Ours is the number you already paid.
The seat price is not the problem. The tier jump is.
On Jobber, a solo operator runs on Core at $49 a month. Hire one helper and Core will not hold him, so you move up to Connect, which starts at five users for $199 a month. That is $150 more every month, or $1,800 a year, for one person. Housecall Pro works the same way: Basic covers one user, and the next plan up is triple the price.
A BuiltWright crew seat is $800, once. And because seats are counted rather than assigned, when that helper moves on, the seat stays with your business and the next hire uses it. You do not buy it again.
