When you generate an invoice, BuiltWright pulls from your completed tasks and uses the actual costs you paid for materials, not the estimated prices from the original quote. That means your invoices reflect what actually happened on the job. Labor and materials are broken out with separate subtotals, markup and tax are applied automatically, and any deposits already received are deducted from the balance due.

Deposit system

Collect deposits. Track every dollar.

Request upfront deposits as a percentage or flat amount before work begins. When a customer pays, mark the deposit as received and BuiltWright handles the rest. Deposits are automatically applied to the first invoice generated for that job. The full application history is tracked in a deposit ledger so you always know exactly where the money went.

Payment tracking

Every payment recorded. Nothing falls through the cracks.

Record payments as they come in with the method (cash, check, credit card, ACH) and the amount. BuiltWright pre-fills the remaining balance as a suggested amount so you do not have to do the math. Partial payments are fully supported, so if a customer pays half now and half later, you have a complete record of both. Payment history is tracked per customer across all their jobs.
