Offline‑first One‑time license Admin Hub included No subscriptions
Last updated: August 31, 2025 • Effective on installation/purchase.

What you’re buying

A perpetual, personal/business license for the Boss app (Android) with Admin Hub included. Works offline; sync is optional and user‑controlled. No monthly fees.

Your data

Your operational data lives on your device first. We don’t sell your data. You can use the app fully offline; cloud sync (when enabled) is for backup and multi‑device convenience.

Refunds & crew

Refund policy and any early‑bird/credits are described on Pricing. Crew licenses are planned for v2–v3 (role‑limited, one‑time). The Boss license works solo/small‑shop today.

Heads up: EPA/RRP and other compliance tools are helpers, not legal advice. You’re responsible for how you use the app and for meeting applicable laws.

1) The Agreement

These Terms form a binding agreement between BuiltWright SoftWorks ("we/us") and you ("you"). By installing, accessing, or paying for BuiltWright, you accept these Terms.

“BuiltWright SoftWorks” refers to the owner‑operator of the BuiltWright software. If you buy for a company, you confirm you’re authorized to bind it.

2) License Grant

We grant you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, perpetual license to use the BuiltWright Boss app and included Admin Hub for your business. One license per person (phone + one companion device). No resale or hosting as a service.

Crew licenses, when available (v2–v3), will be separate role‑limited licenses.

3) Ownership

We own the software and all related IP. You own your business data. These Terms don’t transfer ownership of either.

4) Offline & Sync

The app is offline‑first and fully usable without internet. Sync is optional and user‑controlled (toggle in the app or use “Sync Now”). When enabled, data may be transmitted and stored with our cloud provider solely to provide sync and updates.

5) Updates

Updates are included. The app/Admin Hub may check for signed update packages at launch and ask whether to apply them. You choose when to install. Some updates may be required for security or compatibility.

6) Payment & Refunds

Pricing is listed on the Pricing page. Taxes may apply. Any early‑bird or trade‑in credits are applied at purchase.

Refunds: Your refund policy is described on the Pricing page. If a refund is issued, your license terminates and you must uninstall the software. Your local business data remains yours; export before uninstalling.

7) Privacy

We don’t do ads or data selling. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect (if sync/update checks are enabled) and why.

8) Compliance & Records

Features like EPA/RRP helpers, lead testing logs, or year‑built lookups are tools to help you maintain records. They don’t guarantee compliance. You’re responsible for verifying requirements and keeping legally required records.

9) Acceptable Use

No reverse engineering, scraping, automated abuse, or interfering with update/signature checks. Don’t use the software for unlawful purposes.

10) Support

We aim for timely support via builtwrightapp@gmail.com. Response times may vary by volume and complexity.

11) Warranties & Liability

BuiltWright is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the software is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

12) Termination

You may stop using the software at any time. We may terminate this license if you materially breach these Terms (for example, piracy). Upon termination or refund, you must uninstall and stop using the software. Your local business data remains yours; export before uninstalling.

13) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Missouri without regard to conflicts rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, unless you choose small‑claims court. Optional: add an arbitration clause if desired.

14) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms for clarity, security, or new features. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and post the new version here. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
